Bon dia!

Welcome to issue #105 of The Pan Note! We've had a great month: new Pandect pages, plenty of new official spoilers by Dina and the summer event, Pandect's Next Top Model, is in action. If you're not following PNTM yet, you should start doing so today, on the Contests board. You can also click your way to the results from Reminders.

The only Panbirthday in the next few weeks is Noah's. Mr. Sex-on-Legs becomes a year older on August 7th. There's no better day to post steamy Noah art or a nice Nogar fic, so if you're a fan of Noah and into making fancreations, mark that date down.

In this issue we have plenty of Noted links and the return of Chareply. In this month's edition, a lovely lady has written to us in order to share a summer memory with all of our readers so don't forget to check that out at the end of the issue. We've also got some Fresh Links and of course, the new page!

As always, we hope you'll enjoy this issue. We'll be back next month with our annual Porno Issue.

The next issue will come out August 15th, 2013.

NEW PAGE UP!!

Do you think Rocko gives Ice too much money? Do you think Ceasar need to earn more money, together with Ice? But, hold on, the situation is getting serious now. Do you think Fleance will leave? Do you think the serpents are after him? Share your thoughts on the Recent Pages board!

Chapter 17 Page 10: I should leave this place soon

Our reaction!
"I wonder if there will be a Nogar confrontation at some point..."
"I'm worried about Fleance"

FANARTs of the month

Noah Doodle by J!

Fluff is hosting a Q&A style thread about Cleatus. If there's something in particular you would like to know about Cleatus, you may want to post in the Who is Cleatus? thread. Beware of spoilers!

If you've been trying to find the Pandect Reference Pages for artistic or other purposes, look not further! Sagechan has posted up a list with links for several different characters and their reference sheets, so go check them out.

The Update on Candies and Spoilers thread has been updated with new spoilers! And this time, there's even a never-seen-before image of an early character draft for Titus!

You can now read Fluff's 2013 Anime Expo Report, complete with lots of photos from the convention. If you want to know what went down at AX (especially Pandect-wise), this is the report to read.

And in other news... The forum suffered what is now known as "The White Pages Incident," VV got hermit crabs, J got a new job, Mume watched Akira and Fluff and Sagie reminisced about Escaflowne.

Welcome to The Characters Reply! This month we have for you a new letter from Venus, who has spent a lovely summer's day at a zoo with some of the characters we know and love. For more, you'll have to read her article - we're not here to spoil it for you. ^^

If you have any questions or comments for our Charepliers, please post them in the
Chareply thread in Pandect Talk.

And here is the newest from Venus!

Dear Panboarders,

Now that summer is finally here, we figured we might as well take advantage of it and take the cubs somewhere nice – of course once we’d decided where we’d go it was pretty much Teddy, Edgar and me with 7 cubs on our hands. You’d think a bunch of wild animals would not get that excited over a zoo, but there you have it.

I’m sure I don’t have to tell you that we spent hours visiting our own animals. Feline conversations get very longwinded very fast, especially when you are not a feline (though I suppose it was worse for Ice, and probably worst for poor Ceasar who had no idea what was going on, of course). We lucked out in that we’d picked a pretty slow day to go, and we only got caught once sneaking right up to the panther’s fence. No one saw us at the mountain lions, lynx and cheetahs (don’t try this yourself, kids, we freaked Ceasar out just a little).

The wolves weren’t all that interested in us, though Ice sure tried. A lady’s husky we met along the way was a lot more enthusiastic until she smelled the bear. There were peathingies strutting around close to where we had our picnic lunch, who ended up stealing a chunk of Cherokee’s sandwich. The bears were very nice and their little cub was the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.

Our visit to the reptilian exhibit was the most selective one you could manage, because there were also a bunch of spiders and stick insects (which we skipped), a whole bunch of snakes (which we skipped), terrariums and ponds with amphibians of all shapes and colours (which were mostly skipped) and then finally the lizards and geckos (which we did not skip, obviously).

I’m pretty sure we saw every animal there was. The fish were rather boring, though we did see Valerie and a bunch of Nemo’s and even Titus’ skeleton. The otters and penguins were the coolest (pun not intended) and there was a baby giraffe too.

We lost Sobre somewhere along the way but he managed to find us before dinner time just fine and there were no frantic intercom messages calling all personnel to a fire or alerting the public to an escaped tiger or elephant or even koala. Maybe he just went over to the koala habitat and took a nap. I don’t think I want to know (we didn’t see him when we were there, either).

For dinner there was pizza and two kinds of dessert and the cubs got a plushie of themselves (Ice did too). Ice was also the one who fell asleep on the way home.

We’re definitely doing this again.

Enjoy the summer!
Love,
Venus

Thanks for posting, Virgie! :)

Wow, it feels like it's been forever since the last time TPN had six different sections in it... ^^;;;
